We are all apart of the Sex Myth. Whether it is the perspective that women shouldn’t be sexual, a concept I’ve been told my whole upbringing is holding women down when in reality in my circles quit the opposite is true. Being the “cool girl” that is down with it all, preferably at a higher tempo than said partner and especially men have been the norm. Bragging about sexual escapades and above all _always_loving_sex_ all masqued as “sex positivity” have been the norm among my friends.
Rachel Hills book “The Sex Myth” is a rare 360 degree view on shame and expectations surrounding sex. Keeping the hard balance between guilt in sex and guilt in not sex Hills givs an amazing view on a wide spectrum on sexual stories and question ideas around our sexlives making you feel less like you have a secret alien fucked up sexlife.
