Richard Prince blocked me on Twitter after I called him out for using a predatory sexual tweet accompanied with a selfie by me for his prints and then in top of that crumbling up the photo. Appropriating photos when being a rich famous artist is not boundary pushing but is just recycling old ideals keeping up dusty hierarchies where people are working for the wealth and the power of a higher class. To also use sexual language while appropriating a young femmes selfie is also just mirroring predatory rhetorics that have shamed and silenced women for centuries.
