Sound the horns! - @thesilkroadjourney The Silk Road Journey Exhibition is open today, March 20th, at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library & Museum in Atlanta, GA, retracing the 2000 year old trade routes on both land and sea. Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, China, Vietnam, Brunei, Indonesia, India, Yemen, and Kenya are among the countries featured in the exhibit. Here, novice monks (trapa), practice blowing the dungchen, traditional 13-foot horns, that will be used in Buddhist ceremonies and call to prayer.
