Climbing rope-less above the ocean with nothing to catch you but the salt water below or 'psicobloc' as it's known in the climbing community was born here on the island of Mallorca. The limestone walls are perfect for it, averaging about 60' tall and STEEP, so that there is nothing but air between you and the water below.
It's paradise for some or a scary nightmare for those afraid of the rough seas. Either way I love photographing it... to me it's the essence of climbing: No gear, just a pair of shoes, chalk and a steep piece of stone.
