'#Pushkar was unlike any other place I visited during my month-long travels around the north of #India. Situated around a holy lake, this smaller city is a main Hindu pilgrimage site, and you can often hear the sound of chanting and humming lingering in the desert air. A must-do during your visit is a hike up to the Savitri Mata Temple, which viewpoint overlooks Pushkar and seemingly extends to the end of the Earth. You'll also find a large fanbase of monkeys, which can make for pretty cute photos ;) -@livelikeitsthewknd.
