'It may be obvious why #Jodhpur is called the 'Blue City', as many of the buildings in the old quarter are painted this colour, but there is much speculation as to why blue was originally chosen. To this day I’ve still never quite found out why. Some simply believe it was just to keep local homes cool in the heat.
