Here's my quick, easy steps for a perfect soft boil egg.
STEP 1: add eggs to a pot and fill with water about about an inch of water covering over the eggs
STEP 2: Heat and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and let sit for exactly 7 minutes.
STEP 3: once 7 minutes is up , quickly cool the eggs in a bowl filled with ice water to stop from further cooking.
