In 2 weeks I will chase the northern lights again, leading a group in Iceland near the Arctic latitudes. Here during an aurora storm exactly 5 years ago on March 13, I was near Kiruna in #Lapland. My Swedish colleague @nightskyphotographer is staring at the stunning crown (aurora corona) forming above us and illuminating the entire landscape in green. After seeing one of these majestic displays you realize why cultures of the far north, like Sami in Lapland, are so deeply connected to these mysterious lights. Interested in #aurora chasing?
