Friday: Xian Dou Jiang #鹹豆漿 Salty Soy Milk (although it's more savoury than salty) topped with chopped youtiao, a long crispy and delicious doughnut like thing, toasted shrimp #蝦皮, laver, spring onion and regular and spicy sesame oil ???With a cifantuan #粢饭 on the side, a youtiao wrapped in glutinous sticky rice, pickled mustard greens, pork floss and peanuts ❤

It seems like an absolutely crazy amount of ingredients, time, effort, but seriously, it takes just a few minutes to throw it all together. I even made the soy milk from scratch. Probably why dou jiang is one of the most popular breakfasts in the whole of China, it's cheap, easy to make and so tasty #symmetrybreakfast
