Throughout March we are celebrating women artists in our collection, and on view in our exhibitions. Hefuna ponders the intersection of location and identity in a practice that includes drawing, installation, performance, photography, sculpture, and video. A selection of her work, including "Notations" (2011), is on view now in The Creative Act: Performance, Process, Presence at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi.
