One of my favourite quotes is “Never give up on a dream because of how much time it will take to accomplish it, that time will pass anyway” I remind myself of this all the time. Everyone is looking for a quick fix, the fastest way to achieve their goals, to get their dream body or dream job. People rarely want to put in the work that it takes to get there. It’s easy to be put off by duration but remember, the time will pass anyway so you may as well be putting it to good use because in a months time you will wish you has started today. In a months time you could be 4 weeks stronger and healthier or you could still be at the starting line, contemplating beginning, because you never committed yourself to your goals. Start now. Don’t wait until everything is perfect, it never will be. You’re going to face challenges, you’re going to lack motivation to push forward but just keep going. With every step you take and every day that passes, you will grow stronger mentally and physically. You will push past the perceived barrier of duration to achieve your goals. You will look back on your journey and be glad you started when you did. Start where you are and with what you have. Just start.
