I am Xiaoyu Weng 翁笑雨 (@xiaoyuxiaoyuxiaoyu), an associate curator at the Guggenheim in charge of The Robert H.N. Ho Family Foundation Chinese Art Initiative. I'm taking over the Guggenheim Instagram account to give you insight into my role as co-curator of Tales of Our Time, the second exhibition of the Initiative, on view through March 10. I believe art experience can change life. Amid current tensions around the world, it is more important than ever to reinforce such belief and to create more space for understanding between cultures and people through art. On this exhibition, I worked directly with artists to commission new artworks for the museum's permanent collection.
