The Cable Squat
Girls or Guys this is a great exercise, and it's harder than it looks. If you have lower back issues, or even if you don't, this is a leg/glute builder. The hard part is not allowing the weight to pull you off balance. Start out light and get the feel. Plant your feet hard into the ground, your toes should grip the floor. First, squeeze your glutes hard, then as you lower, push your hips back, do not lean over, push your knees out keeping your feet straight. I recommend high reps, 15 to 20. You'll feel it. 3 sets x 15-20 reps as a stand alone exercise. 1 set 20 reps as a finisher after legs. Make it harder? Hold dumbbells by your shoulders.
