Just competed at the Hueco Rock Rodeo and was able to take the win. Temps were around 80 degrees, there was no wind, it was hot to say the least. The open category was on North Mountain. I started the day with 'Tequila Sunrise' (8A+) then tried 'Esperanza' (8B+) and fell on the last move to the finish hueco. After I moved on to do 'Barefoot on Sacred Ground' (8A+), 'Loaded Direct' (8A+), 'The Rhino' (8A), 'Diaphanous Sea' (8A), and 'Diabolique' (8B). Fun times roaming around with @hanna_smash and @ナサニエル・コールマン. Now my skin feels like it is in a fire pit. Total v points this time was 71.
