#RickRubin the day before my birthday in #1999 We both lived @nyuweinstein dormitory in the 80's!Rick's room was 712 and I was in 802. I moved into the dorm in 1986 after Rick moved out and started @defjamrecords! Rick used to come back in the middle of the night and collaborate with #RicMenello who worked at the front desk of #Weinstein and wrote the script for #TougherThanLeather starring #RunDMC and directed the first few and best #DefJam music videos for the Beastie Boys #FightForYourRight, LLCoolJ's #GoingBackToCali and Slick Rick's #ChildrensStory! #RicMenello was a film historian and I spent my entire time at #NYU talking to Menello about movies!
