The Princess Royal visits Diamond Light Source, fifteen years since the company was formed, and ten years since The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh opened the facility in Oxfordshire.

Since being opened by Her Majesty in 2007, the facility has supported nearly 10,000 scientists in their research from antibiotic drug-resistance to hydrogen fuel cells, and over 100 companies ranging from biotech to aerospace engineering.
