As you can see, from an early age in figure skating I learned that getting up is part of the process 😬 There's a lot of things that happen in skating (and life) that are out of your control. The #GetUp campaign isn't just about getting up when you fall down, it's about persevering when it feels like everything is against you. You can choose to let those situations get you down, or you can choose for them to empower you. Thanks to skating I've learned how to handle those tough situations and just, #GetUp.
