So in honor of #Defiance I decided to peep Florence Foster Jenkins (part of me was hoping for a hood angle---well w "Jenkins" & all) anywho lemme declare that #Streep is a national treasure (but sane people know this already) this film is an amazing lesson on power & money (w/o spoiling Socialite Jenkins is loaded & no one has the heart to tell her the truth about her horrible singing. so she goes through life w yes people at her beck and call praising her to the high heavens. Sometimes money will but you everything but the truth. But this was the turn of the last century. Good thing there's no contemporary versions of this goin on huh? #FlorenceFosterJenkins.
