Always referring to these albums as "kids" this particular one turns 22 today. Some of the best memories I've retained were making this album both good & bad. Gettin my advance & squanderin my loot on Polo & givin homeless people $100 bills expecting them to glow in a white tuxedo like the #BillieJean video. All the orange juice we'd steal outta the Geffen offices like we were having a vitamin C kegger, buyin a #NeilPeart sized drumset KNOWING I'm only gonna hit 2 drums at most, having 3 weeks after Cobain's death to finish up, take the money & run. Celebrating #DistoritonToStatic gettin more radio adds than #Juicy (.....only to realize that's because some radio stations violated Juicy's report date much to Puff's chagrin & gave early projections thus really meaning that 7 days of airplay for our song vs JUST ONE DAY of Big was what we were unknowingly celebrating. Week 2? we was depressed as hell when the REAL numbers was 734 spins vs Big's 21,000 spins. Party Over lol), going to Tower records binge shoppin. THIS ☝?one), exiling to London broke & struggling praying for a miracle to keep me from coming back to west philly defeated only to hear my dad say "told you that you shouldn't have dropped out and got your degree at least", Riq & Rich taking our last loot & copping 8 large French Fries, tomato sauce & cheese to make the best ghetto lasagna I've ever head in life---then our electricity cutting off giving us the best laugh ever in our London flat. #DYWM #DoYouWantMore happy ?
