This one is about - and for, Juan Gatti, Art Director and Photographer from Argentina, living in Madrid and Buenos Aires, my partner in crime for many years and projects.

Dear Juan,
Out of the blue (relax) and not without a very light pathetic undertone, I want to tell you how much I love and admire you, and how much the imprint of your immense talent and your "wise man humanity” I can find in everything we’ve done together. The books, the very big Bunkamura exhibition in Tokyo in 1996, in Berlin's Hamburger Bahnhof in 1997, at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow in 2002 and many others.

Now in 2017, our latest project, the third Pirelli calendar, and by far our best one (!!) shows how great German photographers can be... under strong Argentinian influence! Thank you man, Peter.
