Ahead of our special week-end in Rotterdam (28-29 January) I would like to thank Emily Ansenk, Director of the Kunsthal, and her team and Thierry-Maxime Loriot, Curator of the exhibition “Peter Lindbergh, A Different Vision on Fashion Photography” (on display until February 12, 2017). Dear Emily and Thierry,
For the past six months, my life as a photographer has been crazier than any previous six months in the last forty years. This is why it took so long (much too long) to finally thank you both p u b l i c l y for this amazing exhibition.
Thierry, thank you for knocking on my door with such a brilliant idea, including the structure of the exhibition.
I think and I am sure, no one in the world would have said ‘no' to you.j
Emily, thank you for having the extraordinary courage to produce such an ambitious exhibition, as challenging as lthis one. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to travel this exhibition afterwards to numerous venues in different countries. It will be exciting to see the adaptation on the next stop: the Kunsthalle in Munich, opening on 14 April 2017. I thank both of you very much.Lots of Love,
