As of this week, @jayandsilentbobstash has officially been in business for 20 years! In year one, @tellemants used to run the counter and #waltflanagan ordered books from #diamondcomics while still working at the Highlands Recreation Center (where I met both him and my hetero life-mate and the name above the door, @jaymewes). We started on Monmouth Street in #RedBank and stayed there for 2 years before moving up to the current Broad Street location. The Stash has been home to many podcast recordings, a scene in @jayandsilentbob Strike Back, and a wedding. When it looked like we might close up shop 7 years back, suddenly #comicbookmen gave the store a new lease on life and made @amc_tv stars of @mingchen37, @michaelzapcic, Bry & Walt. In the early 90's, Walt told me his dream job was to run a comic book store. So #jayandsilentbobsecretstash has been an absolute dream come true. Thank you to every customer who has ever walked through our doors or bought stuff online. You've kept #thesecretstash open for two decades and counting! #KevinSmith
