When we were making #Dogma back in #1998, a young @ベン・アフレック wrote for me a Things To Do list on my office white board. In case you can't make out some of the words, here's what all 8 points say... 1) Figure out how the fuck to direct before filming starts. 2) Examine further avenues for corporate whoring of self through store (signed toilet paper used, etc). 3) See if it's a practical joke or if a man of Affleck's caliber is willing to do a third movie with the sorry likes of me. 4) Get a real job. 5) See if Ben would do me the common courtesy to stop plugging my Mom - at least during shooting. 6) See if @Marvel Entertainment comics has any interest in a project tentatively titled "Silent Bob's a Bitch". 7) Pound salt (or salt substitute) up ass. 8) See if Affleck would mind if the Dogma one-sheet features the back of his head again. I'd never had my balls busted in write-on/wipe-off marker before so I memorialized the comical character assassination with this #polaroid. To clear up the more inside jokes, 2) was about @jayandsilentbobstash, which we'd just opened; 6) was because I was writing the #daredevil comic at the time; 8) is a reference to the #chasingamy poster, which featured #joeyadams only. Years later, Ben stopped watching other people direct and started doing it himself.
