I will watch @Barack Obama give his farewell speech tonight. I feel very emotional about it. There is great tenderness for me right now with regard to our consciousness as human beings and I feel such immense gratitude for this man and his family and the work they have done in the name of what they felt was right for this country. This is the kind of leader I feel lucky to have experienced-one who has led with great kindness and intellect... and encouraged a sense of hope in me that I CAN aim higher and think outside myself and work toward a more compassionate, inclusive, diverse world. Politics are personal and I don't imagine we are all on the same page, but that's why this book of life is as gripping as it is...we keep turning pages till we find each other at THE END.
And every end is a beginning.
Thank you Mr. President for being such a wise and thoughtful leader. It has been an honor and a gift. Thank you for being you.
