Today marks 50 years since the start of Vietnam War Operation 'Cedar Falls'. Philip Jones Griffiths’ account of the war, 'Vietnam Inc.', was the outcome of three years reporting and is one of the most detailed surveys of any conflict. Showing us the real horrors of the war as well as a study of Vietnamese rural life, Griffiths created a compelling argument against the dehumanizing power of the modern war machine and American imperialism.
