#fbf to when I was doing a photoshoot for GQ & Vicious Circle. I remember talking with the Interviewer about longevity. I said "longevity happens when you don't run out of ideas, drive & fans." Its true and to this day I realize how lucky I am (coupled with how determined) to have a career that is solid and growing. No matter what highs or lows come through I accept it and apply it.
I've watched so many comedians like Kevin Hart break through after years and years of being under the radar and I've also watched way more comedians have a moment of "fame" quickly become dismissed. The cool comedian of 2 years ago is already talked about like a never was. That's how this Industry works. Especially when some people get more than they deserve because of political shit (they always get hammer dropped because no one likes a fast pass traveler ha). I could list 20 names of funny comedians that disappeared. I could name many that should have had a moment but didn't. I can show you many that popped and deserve the praise due to 24/7 hard work.
I've watched all of this from a position that is unique and ideal. My own path with my own priorities and team that allows me to work on what I believe in and that is what I've built and will be NEXT.
