I started @effyourbeautystandards 3 1/2 years ago out of frustration. I was tired of being told I was too fat to wear what I wanted, that because of my size I "shouldn't" wear a bikini, show my arms & or whatever ridiculous "rule" people say plus women shouldn't wear. What I didn't know at the time was it isn't just a plus size problem, it's not gendered, it's something we ALL deal with. My team has been with me now for 2 years & they help make #effyourbeautystandards what it is today. I don't know what I would do without them & if you aren't following them all, then you are truly missing out on 7 extraordinary individuals.
