2016 was a roller coaster for everyone, but some good things happened: My clothing line #mblmxtessholliday launched with @penningtons & I'm so proud of it ? I got to talk about the stigma that plus size women face during my pregnancy this year & hopefully change some things & get important conversations going ? Was part of a @Benefit Cosmetics campaign at 7 months pregnant ?Gave birth to my baby bear, Bowie Juniper ?I walked my first runway show for NYFW in a size inclusive show for my friend @ashley_nell_tipton right after giving birth?? I did my part (& continue to do so) to #normalizebreastfeeding ? Walked in Buzzfeeds version of a Victoria's Secret fashion show, baring all & feeling totally empowered✌?@effyourbeautystandards celebrated another year & now with over 2 million photos shared using the hashtag???? Nick & I got our first home ?, traveled, & continued to love each other through the good & bad. My oldest son will be 11 soon & is the best big brother & a thriving future artist ?? We made new friends, memories & learned A LOT. There is so much to be grateful for & yet #2016 challenged all of us: it showed us that our nation still has so much work to do to protect our black brothers & sisters #blacklivesmatter, that Native Americans are still not being heard #NoDAPL, & that a misogynist gets to call himself president #notmypresident. People hurt all around the world, & this year, we need to be kinder, love harder & be our own #goals.
