It's pretty hard to believe now that I spent the first 17yrs of my life tragically wanting to be accepted by others. A total victim, easy target, pushover and doormat in the world trying to please everyone and change everything about myself and my appearance in order to fit the mould that made girls popular in society. Ive never wanted to be rich or famous, marry a footballer or be a kept woman, just to be allowed to study and work hard to support my young family alone without being bullied and cruelly judged by others anymore. As a young woman I wore far too much makeup, daring clothes which weren't my style, false nails, false hair colours and extensions, fake tan, fake nails to feel beautiful and fit in but I fell into toxic relationships because of it which totally broke my heart leaving me as a shell of a woman with zero confidence. Since I've been single I've never been so strong, natural, self accepting, level headed, successful and determined in life. My days are filled with laughter love and sunshine even on the darkest of nights and hardest of times. I've realised despite being a single mother of two I don't need anybody other than my children to make my life complete. I wish that I could bottle this inner peace that I've found with my unpainted nails, natural hair colour, post pregnancy body and energy for life so that every woman in the world can feel the same way as I do. Young insecure girls finding their feet, bullying victims, frumpy mummy tummy new parents and unmotivated housewives; we all deserve to be ourselves and make no apology for it, I'm not only a mother but also a woman and I can strut from the boardroom to the bedroom without giving two f**ks about what others think or say about me anymore.
