Monday: Boxing Day Croissants, they have become quite a tradition for us! All the leftovers from yesterday's Christmas Day lunch packed into a croissant ?? Turkey, ham, roast potato, stuffing, cold bread sauce and some cranberry jelly on the side ? ------------------------------
So if you don't know what Boxing Day it's a holiday celebrated in the UK and commonwealth nations where as early as the 17th century, you'd give a Christmas Box to your staff or servants to thank them for their work throughout the year. It's also a day much like Black Friday where everything goes on sale and everyone plays football⚽️ and rugby? or goes swimming in the sea ??. Sounds like a strange holiday when you write it out!! ?
