By now you've probably guessed I'm a bit of a sucker for a connection as I love the moments in life when I'm drawn to things that I'd never have noticed or been aware of before. The universe has a funny way of pointing you in the right direction when you need it most, whether that's hearing powerful words which turn into spontaneous tattoos or finding a sign that's just too much of a coincidence to be accidental. Today I had one of those moments and my sign came in the form of this glistening golden swan. As a school girl I remember crying to my mum because I was bullied so badly for being a tomboy and geek and she told me to have faith and stay strong because one day I'd grow into a beautiful swan and nobody would bully me anymore, sometimes it takes time for us to become what we're supposed to be in life but it's for a good reason. I never see swans, ever, anywhere! And right when I was contemplating having a cheat day today because it's the weekend and I feel rubbish on my period I saw this beautiful swan and I had to buy it instead of junk. To me it's reminding me that change is good, that I should have faith and continue moving forwards, to be calm, collected and content that I'm on the right path.
