Help! @goatsofanarchy needs help to save Polly :(! See below :
The famous cute little goat in her duck costume. While I am thrilled with GOA going viral, there is so much more going on than a little goat with anxiety finding comfort in a duck costume. Polly is in serious trouble. I try to keep our page light for the most part because a lot of what goes on is intense. Polly has neurological problems which caused blindness and yes, a bit of anxiety at times but there is a much more serious issue. Goats regurgitate their cud, chew it, and then swallow it again. Polly is regurgitating her cud and the projectile spitting it all out. Our vet says there is a disconnect in her brain and there's just no way for me to tell her to hold it in, chew it and swallow it again. We have been told we need a neurologist, but the neurologist closest to us is in Pennsylvania and not in until sometime in January. I just lost 2 babies. I can't and won't lose Polly. She is getting no nutrition. I feel helpless and I need someone to help her. Does anyone know of a ruminat neurologist near NJ? Can you email me? Thegoatsofanarchy@gmail.com. This is the awful part of rescue. I feel so helpless. I'm not looking for advice, I'm looking for a ruminant neurologist. We need help and prayers. Unfortunately, the duck costume can't fix this problem. ?
