As part of #TigersFanFridays, we recognize Christina McNally-Stewart and all 98 of her family and friends that made the trip to the right-field seats in April with her.
When Christina's husband, Jason, passed away in 2014, she and her family wanted to honor his passion for the Tigers by attending a game together. Christina and Jason were season ticket holders for many years before his passing, and had attended hundreds of games together.
Now Christina’s friends and family all make the trip to Comerica Park with t-shirts that read, “Safe at home” to commemorate the occasion. “We couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate my husband,” Christina said. “Comerica Park and the Detroit Tigers will always be special to me because I'm pretty sure my husband loved the Tigers and Comerica Park as much as he loved me!”
