Today is Thanksgiving..and it seems to be a little weird to be celebrating....not when the Native Americans are having to once again fight for their land, not when those that love America for its religious and intellectual freedoms are still coming to terms with what the New America looks and feels like...and when the media has so successfully managed to divide a nation as they push for profits.
America is a beautiful nation...that is filled with beautifully diverse people and places. On this day I hope we can remember that we are all in this together...we are each a thread in the great American flag. I hope that you will truly allow everyone a seat at your table and that you will use this day to push for a better and brighter and more loving America...cause a lot of folks sure could use that right now.
