I was gearing up for Iceland and asked my friends what they needed me to bring, since I would be arriving last.

"Hand warmers!! It's freeeeezing," said Azita. "Something cool to wear in photos," said Kenny. "Yeeeees! A super fancy dress," Cory said. "Like, really fancy."

Before I knew it I was hiding all of my warm clothes beneath this airplane wreckage. Cory took the most amazing photographs as the sunrise pinged through the busted out windows and perforations in the hull. Kenny shot Cory shooting me, documenting his genius eye and my screaming bloody murder every 30 seconds to generate heat.

Then I promptly jumped back into my sweaters and coats, with the pockets full of hand warmers to save me from frostbite.

Nailed it. When your best friends who are photographers tell you to do something, just say yes. They'll make you feel prettier than you ever have before. And the swearing and cursing you all do trying not to freeze will make for hilarious, life long memories.
