Girl genius would be an accurate way to describe Olivia Hallisey, who won the grand prize at the 2015 Google Science Fair for a project that could ultimately save lives. "I created a test for Ebola that, unlike current methods, is inexpensive, easy to use, sustainable, and temperature-independent," explains the whiz, who is progressing toward making her chemistry-based diagnostic tool applicable to more diseases, such as Lime and Zika. "I started this research because I wanted to help people," says Olivia, who took part in 2015's Bal few Debutantes. "It's been really amazing that it's gotten so much attention." ?Tap the link in bio to read about more #smartgirls who prove that being smart is cool. ?: @cgbp Styling: @its_brody
