DC’s Young Animal Comics Out Today!

Been a long and busy day, but some of you might be hitting your local comic shop tonight. And I know writer Jody Houser has a signing so we hope she has a good one.
Mother Panic Issue 1- It’s here! The fourth and final (for now) series launch for the imprint. Really excited for everyone to check this out— it’s very different from all of the other books on the imprint.
Written by amazing co-creator Jody Houser, art and colors by the incomparable co-creator Tommy Lee Edwards, and letters by the legendary John Workman. Edited masterfully by the fearless Molly Mahan. And as always special thanks to Shelly Bond. Also- this issue kicks off a new ongoing backup story called Gotham Radio— a look inside some of Gotham’s media inner workings. Written by Jim Krueger with the art team of Phil Hester, Ande Parks, and Trish Mulvihill, and lettering by Deron Bennett

Doom Patrol Issue 3- Lot’s of big reveals in this issue— we finally get the scoop on Casey Brinke! And Casey is also reunited with an old friend. Beautifully illustrated by my brother-in-arms, Nick Derington. Tamra Bonvillain handled the colors— and she is absolutely crushing it. Fantastic and sometimes experimental lettering by Todd Klein. And edited by the wonderful Jamie Rich.
