Sun Xun has painted two mysterious landscapes the size of murals. Here and there he’s inserted Fuxin’s landmarks, its historical sites, and the ruins of a shuttered industry. Fanciful animations are projected on top of the murals. The artist has a very interesting little personal world, and in this parallel universe there are mythical creatures. Layered on top of the murals, these whimsical creatures interact with Fuxin’s sites in enigmatic ways.
