??I love autumn apples so good, Here's a list of things I love to do with apples right now what are your favourite things to do ??... so mine are in no order a :really good apple rainbow veg slaw :Apple granita with really good yogurt: apple and Herb brine for roast chicken or turkey :) it's great to do :home made apple vinegar and a nice thick french dressing made from that with hot french beans and a pork chop: very Finely diced apple with a good oysters damn :) :Of course blackberry and apple pie or crumble is a must right now. You know Those really tasty apples that are super ugly I love them finely Grated over wheetabix Delish instead of sugar: And a pot of tea made with thin slices of apple a little fresh ginger and mint or lemon verbena jools loves those: I love throwing a whole apple in with a roast so it caramelises and can be mashed into epic gravy: and last but not least a smash it salad get apples, fennel, carrots, jalapeño chilli ,radish and any crunchy veg wrap up in a tea towel and smash up you get a super cool rustic look, of course all the natural flavours have been exaggerated then simply dress and toss with herbs so so good jox x x
