A bucket list goal in my life was to travel to Bavaria to see the most iconic fairy tale place of my dreams, Neuschwanstein Castle. Many of you joined me on Friday, by tuning into my Instagram Story, as I checked it off my list! That day was simply magical for me. Of course this trip wouldn't be complete without me capturing my travels through the joy of colored pencils. This was, by far, the most detailed and challenging structure that I've ever drawn. I can't imagine the time & dedication it took to actually build this castle. Hard to believe that the inside, in my opinion, is even more stunning than the exterior. On that note, I totally have a crush on a dead king from the 1800s. Judging by the man's creative decor and artistic interior, Ludwig II of Bavaria and I would have totes been in love. He even has a grotto off his bedroom & unicorns on the inside...unicorns, people! I'll admit, I totally looked at his closet during the tour and imagined where my clothes would go. A girl can dream, can't she? ;) Bavaria, you were lovely! I was taken by surprise during my stay in Füssen, a charming village near the castle. I'll definitely be back to visit...multiple times. For now, it's time to continue in my travels through Europe!
