UPDATE: So today I had surgery to repair a small tear in my knee cartilage.
I've been carrying the injury all through my preparation for Rio and even after rest and rehab it wasn't going to get better by itself.
The operation went well and I feel good. So now it's a few days to recover from the anesthetic then I'll be ready to start rehab.
Thank you to the staff at Rosshall and to the Scottish Institute of Sport for taking great care of me.
I'll be back before you know it ??
