Favorite stop this trip - Wayne Cty, NC HQ for #HRC. American democracy in action. Americans committed to our country. To my immediate left, Ernestine Wooten, who first involved herself in politics at age 18. She's Wayne Cty Democratic Party Chair, the first black woman to hold that position. She's 91 yrs old. I'll say it again - she's 91 yrs old. Mrs. Wooten is concerned about youth voter apathy. 'How do we get them more involved?' she asked. She's seen enough to know what this election is about. She's seen our country ebb & flow and still hasn't a cynical bone in her body, only the desire for continued progress and the will & energy to put in the work necessary to help make that happen. If you're in the Wayne Cty, NC area and want to effect the outcome of this election, if you don't want an incompetent, lying, 'law & order,' bigot at the power controls of our country, head over and join up with Mrs. Wooten.
