Rare kitty makes rare friend (see the cat ears at the bottom of the pic?). ?? .
I'm told the black squirrel is not very common (never saw one before moving from Florida) and they're usually too skittish to come close but after a rainy morning, this one decided to come up for some food. There is a nature preserve behind our house and we've seen 2 of them at the same time playing. This is the first time a black one has come and he too, like the fox squirrel yesterday, came bearing a gift (see yesterday's post). He brought some kind of tree nut and left it. ?
