Today marks the 20th anniversary of Tupac Shakur's death.
This photograph of the late rapper has gone down in music history as arguably the most famous image of the artist.
Taken in 1993 by Danny Clinch, it initially ran as part of a short profile story for Rolling Stone. Three years later, when Shakur tragically died in a drive-by shooting, Clinch's photo session with the rapper gained attention, with Rolling Stone running one of the portraits on the cover.
