Dinosaurs are cool and the confluence of science and adventure has always fascinated me. Likewise, it has taken me to some of the most remote corners of our planet and all the way back home. Having grown up in Utah, it was special to return to Escalante for an assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック, searching the Kaiparowits for the remains of our ancient reptilian friends, contributing to the fossil record. As someone constantly on the move, this opened my eyes to the magic in my own backyard.
