I love watches. 17 yrs ago, I bought a @fossil watch. It was simple. It kept me on time. For years, I wore it on every expedition I went on, from Alaska to Australia. I climbed with it. I kayaked with it. The crystal scratched and eventually fractured. Salt water leaked in. It corroded. It evolved. It stopped reminding me of where I needed to be and started reminding me of where I'd been. The watch eventually rusted and corroded to a point where I could no longer use it...through time it evolved into a little piece of art. My life has changed since then...and so have watches. 17 years after buying this watch, I became a #fossilpartner. Together, we've been working on the #fossilq from the Fossil Kin Series, smart watches that make up for the the brain cells I've burned at altitude.
