So since I rented a cabin I decided to not rent an RV. Instead I drove the boys up in my car. It is a 7 hour drive which raises a lot of concern since they are scared of everything and are old and cranky. Like me. But it was also just what we had to deal with so we had to figure it out. I packed all the cabin stuff in the trunk and made the backseat a cat traveling couch. Litter box and all. And to my great surprise the boys just gave in to the car ride. Usually when I take them to the vet or whatever they cry the entire ride and throw up. But this time Jake crawled up onto my lap and stayed there the entire time. Frank slept in his cage. They even used the litter box which is pretty insane when you are racing down a highway. Somehow we arrived at the redwoods with no incident.
