For the past two years, @mitch_epstein has been making large-format black-and-white photographs of rocks and clouds all over New York City. In “Clouds #67,” above, the steel frame of the Parachute Jump, a defunct ride in Coney Island, seems to bridge the sand and the sky. Epstein’s show “Rocks and Clouds” opens next month, at the Yancey Richardson gallery. Link in bio.
