Ames Brown and Allison Palm were married on July 30 at the Church of the Heavenly Rest on the Upper East Side. The couple met in October 2012 during a three-week National Outdoor Leadership School sailing expedition in Mexico. They were both looking for an escape. Mr. Brown had been rejected from the reality show @bacheloretteabc, and Ms. Palm was fleeing her “one-dimensional” life.
