Helaine Blatt and Mort Engelberg were married on July 27 at the Beverly Hills Courthouse. The couple, both in their 70s, had been dating for 26 years. When they first got together, Mr. Engelberg made it clear that he didn't want to get married and Ms. Blatt agreed. But as the years passed, Ms. Blatt had a change of heart. "I know I had said years earlier that I didn’t care about getting married again, but things change in a woman’s life,” she said. “I loved Mort, and I wanted to leave this earth as Mrs. Engelberg.” They got married on her 75th birthday.
